Terms of Service

Effective November 4, 2026 · Interlay Software LLC

ServiceComply is a product of Interlay Software LLC ("we", "us"). These terms cover our website, office portal, and ServiceComply Field mobile app (together, the "service"). ServiceComply helps backflow testing companies manage their work and records. Your company owns its business data and remains responsible for its field work and compliance.

Agreement and business use

By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you accept on behalf of a company, you must have authority to bind that company. Individual users must be authorized by the company that provides their access. A separate written agreement between us and your company controls if it conflicts with these terms.

Accounts and access

Keep your account information accurate, protect your sign-in credentials and devices, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Use your own authorized account and do not share credentials. Your company is responsible for managing its members and permissions and removing access when it is no longer needed.

We give authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for their company's business, subject to these terms and any applicable agreement with their company.

Acceptable use

Your data and privacy

Your company retains ownership of the business records and content it provides, including customer information, test readings, photos, and reports. You give us permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed to provide that content, including any required permission to photograph property or record personal information.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, device permissions, diagnostics, retention, and deletion requests. Company administrators control access to company records. Individual account removal does not necessarily delete business records your company must retain.

Field work and compliance responsibilities

ServiceComply is a recordkeeping and workflow tool. Your company and its technicians are responsible for performing work safely, maintaining required licenses and certifications, using suitable calibrated equipment, and following applicable laws, testing standards, and local authority requirements.

Review test results, calculations, generated reports, and recipient requirements before relying on or submitting them. Software output does not certify an assembly or guarantee acceptance by a water authority. Your company remains responsible for report delivery, deadlines, and required record retention.

Offline work and syncing

The Field app can store work on a device while offline. Work stored only on that device may be lost if the device is lost, damaged, reset, or the app is removed. Confirm that work and photos have synced before removing local data or retiring a device. Your company should keep copies or exports of records it needs to meet its retention obligations.

Fees and early access

Any fees, billing periods, and cancellation or refund terms will be provided in an order or other agreement your company accepts before purchasing paid access. These terms do not by themselves authorize a charge. Features marked as early access, beta, or preview may change, contain errors, or be discontinued.

Our software and other services

We and our licensors retain ownership of the service's software, design, and branding. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. Third-party software, app stores, and linked services may have their own terms and licenses. These terms are between you and Interlay Software LLC; they do not replace your agreement with your app store.

Availability and warranties

We may update the service and interrupt access for maintenance or security. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every error will be corrected, or that the service will meet every regulatory requirement. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Interlay Software LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Suspension, ending access, and exports

You may stop using the service at any time. Your company can contact us to request account closure, a data export, or deletion as described in our Privacy Policy and any separate agreement. We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Urgent security or legal concerns may require immediate action.

Ending access does not transfer ownership of company records or automatically delete them. Data handling remains subject to our Privacy Policy, applicable law, and any separate agreement. Provisions about ownership, responsibility for prior use, warranties, and liability continue to apply after access ends.

Changes and contact

We will post updated terms here with a new effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice through the service or the account contact before they take effect, unless a legal or security requirement requires a shorter period. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the service before they take effect. We will request additional agreement where required by law.
